1About the service

These terms set out the conditions for using Cat World (the “App”), an iPhone app provided by 애플페어 (Applepair, the “Publisher”).

Cat World (캣월드) is a portrait-mode cat wave-shooter game. Swipe left and right to move your squad of cat archers, clear stages across regions, and grow your cat village and kingdom. There is no account, no ads and no in-app purchase. Progress and settings are stored only on this iPhone.

These terms apply only to the Cat World iPhone app.

By downloading or using the App you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2Conditions of use

The App is free.
Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (Apple Standard EULA) also applies. If the two documents differ on the license itself, Apple’s agreement comes first.
The game does not connect to the internet and can be played offline. Web pages you open from Settings, such as the privacy policy, open in Safari.
There is no separate age limit; the App Store age rating applies.
Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

3Paid features

Cat World has no paid features, no in-app purchases and no ads. If digital goods are ever sold, they will be sold only through Apple In-App Purchase. In that case the content and price will be shown in the App before you buy, and these terms will be updated first. Refunds follow Apple’s policy.

In-game fish, stars and rewards exist only inside the game. They cannot be bought with real money and cannot be exchanged for cash or anything else of value.

4Prohibited conduct

Please do not:

hack, disassemble or modify the App, except where the law allows it
try to get around the App’s security or usage limits
break the law or infringe other people’s rights
impersonate the Publisher or anyone else

5Intellectual property

Rights in the App and in its name, icon, screens, text, artwork and sounds belong to the Publisher or to their respective rights holders.
You may use the App for personal purposes. This right cannot be transferred to anyone else, and these terms grant no other rights.
Where the App uses components provided under open licenses, those parts follow their own licenses.
Some sound effects and fonts in the game are used under open licenses and follow those licenses.

6Changes to or end of the service

The App can change through updates, and features can be added or removed.
Time-based rewards such as the nap piggy bank and kingdom income are calculated from the iPhone’s clock.
If the Publisher decides to end the service, it will announce this on this page 30 days before. If it must stop at once for legal or safety reasons, it will stop first and announce afterwards.

7Limits of liability

The App is provided as it is. The Publisher does not guarantee that it will run without errors or interruption.
Progress is stored only on this iPhone. Settings → 진행 초기화 (reset progress) returns progress to the start and cannot be undone.
If the save file is damaged the game may start over. Deleting the app deletes everything, and the Publisher keeps no copy and cannot restore it.
To the extent the law allows, the Publisher is not liable for indirect or special damages arising from use of the App. This limit does not apply to damage caused by the Publisher’s intent or gross negligence, and your rights under the law are not reduced by these terms.
Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for maintaining or supporting the App. Please direct questions about the App to the Publisher.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes are handled by the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.

8Changes to these terms

If the terms change, this page is updated and the “Last updated” date changes.
Changed terms are announced on this page 7 days before they take effect, or 30 days before if the change is unfavourable to you.
If you do not agree to the changed terms, stop using the App. If you keep using it after they take effect, you are treated as agreeing.
If an update changes how the App handles information, the Privacy Policy is updated before that update is released.
