Do I need to sign in?
No. Tap 손님으로 바로 시작하기 (start as a guest) on the first screen to use every feature. Later, 설정 → 이메일 연결하기 (link email) lets you use the same account on another device. Sign-in uses a 6-digit code, no password.
How do I leave a story?
In 이야기 남기기 (leave a story), pick a prepared question or start freely without one. Record, type, upload an audio file or add a caption to a photo. A recording stays on this iPhone until the server confirms it has been uploaded.
I declined microphone access.
You can type or upload a recording instead. To record, turn on 소리책 (Soribook) in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone.
How are drafts made?
With AI processing consent, recordings are transcribed on Soribook’s server and the external AI service Z.ai (GLM) writes a draft using only what is in the original story. The review screen shows the original words next to each paragraph; a draft goes into the book only after a family member reads, edits and approves it.
How do I hear the original voice?
In any chapter of the book, tap 원래 목소리 듣기 (hear the original voice) to play the original recording. You can also play the original voice for each paragraph.
How do I invite family?
An admin sends an invitation link with the share button. The link works once, for 7 days, and can be revoked; the invitee joins with an email code. Roles are admin, recorder and reader.
How do I change AI processing consent?
In 책 (book) → 동의 설정 보기 (consent settings). Switching it off stops new drafts; recordings and text are kept.
How do I delete my account?
In 설정 → 계정 삭제. The app first shows what is deleted and what stays with the family. Details are under Retention and deletion in the privacy policy.
Where is the privacy policy in the app?
설정 → 개인정보와 도움: 개인정보 처리방침 (privacy policy) and 도움말 (help) open in Safari; 개인정보와 AI 처리 shows a summary inside the app.
