The conditions for using Pet Mochi and what the Publisher and you are each responsible for. The app is free, has no in-app purchases or ads, and keeps your pet’s records on this iPhone.

1About the service

These terms set out the conditions for using Pet Mochi (the “App”), an iPhone app provided by 애플페어 (Applepair, the “Publisher”).

Pet Mochi (펫 모찌) is a pet-raising game: a mochi hatches from an egg and you care for it with meals, strokes, cleaning and play. Time keeps passing while the app is closed, and how you care for it shapes what it grows into. There is no account, no ads and no in-app purchase. Records and settings are stored only on this iPhone.

By downloading or using the App you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2Conditions of use

  • The App is free.
  • Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (Apple Standard EULA) also applies. If the two documents differ on the license itself, Apple’s agreement comes first.
  • The app does not connect to the internet and can be played offline. Web pages you open from Settings, such as the privacy policy, open in Safari.
  • There is no separate age limit; the App Store age rating applies.
  • Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

3Content you create

  • You own the content you write, record or upload in the App (“Content”). The Publisher does not claim ownership of it.
  • The Publisher handles Content only as needed to provide the App. What is stored and where it goes is described in the Privacy Policy.
  • You are responsible for making sure your Content does not break the law or infringe anyone’s rights.
  • The name you give your pet and your care records stay on this iPhone, and the Publisher cannot receive or see them. Deleting the app deletes them, and the Publisher cannot restore them. Backups follow your iOS settings (for example iCloud Backup).

5Prohibited conduct

Please do not:

  • hack, disassemble or modify the App, except where the law allows it
  • try to get around the App’s security or usage limits
  • break the law or infringe other people’s rights
  • impersonate the Publisher or anyone else

6Intellectual property

  • Rights in the App and in its name, icon, screens, text, artwork and sounds belong to the Publisher or to their respective rights holders.
  • You may use the App for personal purposes. This right cannot be transferred to anyone else, and these terms grant no other rights.
  • Where the App uses components provided under open licenses, those parts follow their own licenses.

7Changes to or end of the service

  • The App can change through updates, and features can be added or removed.
  • Your pet’s state is calculated from the iPhone’s clock. Reminders are scheduled on this iPhone only if you turn them on in the app’s Settings, and may arrive late or not at all depending on your iOS settings.
  • If the Publisher decides to end the service, it will announce this on this page 30 days before. If it must stop at once for legal or safety reasons, it will stop first and announce afterwards.

8Limits of liability

  • The App is provided as it is. The Publisher does not guarantee that it will run without errors or interruption.
  • Records are stored only on this iPhone. If you delete the app or lose the device they cannot be recovered, and the Publisher keeps no copy and cannot restore them.
  • If the save file can no longer be read, the game may start again from a new egg.
  • To the extent the law allows, the Publisher is not liable for indirect or special damages arising from use of the App. This limit does not apply to damage caused by the Publisher’s intent or gross negligence, and your rights under the law are not reduced by these terms.
  • Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for maintaining or supporting the App. Please direct questions about the App to the Publisher.
  • These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes are handled by the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.

9Changes to these terms

  • If the terms change, this page is updated and the “Last updated” date changes.
  • Changed terms are announced on this page 7 days before they take effect, or 30 days before if the change is unfavourable to you.
  • If you do not agree to the changed terms, stop using the App. If you keep using it after they take effect, you are treated as agreeing.
  • If an update changes how the App handles information, the Privacy Policy is updated before that update is released.
