1What is stored on this iPhone
Everything the app stores stays in its storage on this iPhone and is not visible in the Files app. The developer never receives or sees it.
- Your pet: the name you gave it, its state such as fullness, mood, energy and manners, its growth stage and form, weight, poops in the room, and whether it is sick
- Memories: the growth album, treasures collected in the treasure box, a short diary, and care records such as how often you fed or played
- Time: the bedtime and wake-up time you set, and when you last left the app (to work out how much time passed while it was closed and to greet you when you come back)
- Settings: whether haptics, sound and notifications are on
2Notifications
Notifications are off at first. When you turn on 필요할 때 알려 주기 (remind me when needed) under Settings → 알림 in the app, iOS asks whether to allow notifications.
If you allow them, the app schedules reminders on this iPhone from your pet’s state: only when it is hungry, sick or its room is very messy, at most 3 a day, and never during sleep hours. A reminder shows your pet’s name and what it needs.
These are local notifications scheduled on the iPhone, not push notifications sent through a server. Turning notifications off removes the scheduled ones. You can change the permission at any time in iPhone Settings → Notifications.
3Permissions
- Notifications
- To remind you when your pet needs you. Requested when you turn on notifications in the app’s Settings.
The whole game works without notifications. The app asks for no other permissions (camera, microphone, photos, location and so on).
4What the app does not do
- No account or sign-in.
- No internet connection: the app has no networking code and sends nothing to the developer or any server. Only the privacy policy, terms of use and support links in Settings open these pages in Safari.
- No ads.
- No tracking, and no App Tracking Transparency prompt.
- No usage statistics or analytics tools.
- No third-party SDKs, and nothing shared with third parties.
- No in-app purchases.
5Retention and deletion
- Data stays on this iPhone until you delete the app. The app has no menu that erases your records.
- You can change your pet’s name at any time under Settings → 우리 아이 (my pet) in the app.
- If the save file can no longer be read and the game starts again from a new egg, the unreadable file is kept in the same app storage so it can be checked if you contact us. It is also removed when you delete the app.
- Touch and hold the app icon on the Home Screen, then tap Remove App → Delete App. The app and all of its data on this iPhone are removed.
- If you use iCloud Backup or a computer backup, iOS may include the app’s data in that backup. Backups are kept in your Apple Account or on your computer; the developer cannot see them.
- The developer holds no copy of your data, so deleted data cannot be restored.
6Diagnostics
Apple passes diagnostic information such as crash reports to the developer only if you turned on “Share With App Developers” in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements. Apple runs this feature and you can turn it off at any time. Pet Mochi itself sends no diagnostic data.
7If you email us
Settings → 의견 보내기 (send feedback) in the app opens a new mail draft in your mail app. The draft includes the app version, the iOS version and the device model, and these reach the developer only if you choose to send the mail. When you write to sharepoint889@gmail.com, your address and message are stored in the developer’s Gmail inbox. They are used only to reply to you, are not shared with anyone, and are deleted on request.
8Children
Pet Mochi collects no personal data from anyone, so it collects none from children either.
9Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, this page is updated and the effective date above changes with it. If an update changes how the app handles information, this page is updated before that update is released.
Effective: 7 October 2026
