1About the service

These terms set out the conditions for using Smart TODO (the “App”), an iPhone app provided by 애플페어 (Applepair, the “Publisher”).

Smart TODO is a to-do app that sorts your to-dos into categories when you type a line or say it aloud. Your to-dos, categories and settings are stored only on this iPhone. There is no account and no server.

By downloading or using the App you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2Conditions of use

  • The App is free.
  • Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (Apple Standard EULA) also applies. If the two documents differ on the license itself, Apple’s agreement comes first.
  • The app has no internet feature, so it works without a connection.
  • There is no separate age limit; the App Store age rating applies.
  • Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

3Content you create

  • You own the content you write, record or upload in the App (“Content”). The Publisher does not claim ownership of it.
  • The Publisher handles Content only as needed to provide the App. What is stored and where it goes is described in the Privacy Policy.
  • You are responsible for making sure your Content does not break the law or infringe anyone’s rights.
  • Your to-dos, notes and categories stay on this iPhone, and the Publisher cannot receive or see them. Deleting the app deletes them, and the Publisher cannot restore them. Backups follow your iOS settings (for example iCloud Backup).
  • A to-do you just deleted can be brought back with the Undo button that appears right after.

4AI features

  • Results the App’s AI creates or selects can be wrong or inaccurate. Checking and using the results is up to you.
  • AI results do not replace professional advice.
  • On supported iPhones with Apple Intelligence turned on, Apple’s on-device language model sorts a to-do into a category. This happens only on the iPhone; other iPhones sort with rules built into the app.
  • If a sort is wrong you can change it or undo it, and turning on 카테고리 고정 (lock categories) stops the app from creating new categories.
  • If you tap the microphone button and allow access, speech is turned into text on the iPhone. Keyboard dictation is an iOS feature governed by your iOS settings.

6Prohibited conduct

Please do not:

  • hack, disassemble or modify the App, except where the law allows it
  • try to get around the App’s security or usage limits
  • break the law or infringe other people’s rights
  • impersonate the Publisher or anyone else

7Intellectual property

  • Rights in the App and in its name, icon, screens, text, artwork and sounds belong to the Publisher or to their respective rights holders.
  • You may use the App for personal purposes. This right cannot be transferred to anyone else, and these terms grant no other rights.
  • Where the App uses components provided under open licenses, those parts follow their own licenses.

8Changes to or end of the service

  • The App can change through updates, and features can be added or removed.
  • Apple Intelligence sorting may be unavailable depending on your device, region and iOS settings.
  • If the Publisher decides to end the service, it will announce this on this page 30 days before. If it must stop at once for legal or safety reasons, it will stop first and announce afterwards.

9Limits of liability

  • The App is provided as it is. The Publisher does not guarantee that it will run without errors or interruption.
  • Do not rely on the app alone for important matters; keep another record. If you delete the app or lose the device, your to-dos cannot be recovered.
  • To the extent the law allows, the Publisher is not liable for indirect or special damages arising from use of the App. This limit does not apply to damage caused by the Publisher’s intent or gross negligence, and your rights under the law are not reduced by these terms.
  • Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for maintaining or supporting the App. Please direct questions about the App to the Publisher.
  • These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes are handled by the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.

10Changes to these terms

  • If the terms change, this page is updated and the “Last updated” date changes.
  • Changed terms are announced on this page 7 days before they take effect, or 30 days before if the change is unfavourable to you.
  • If you do not agree to the changed terms, stop using the App. If you keep using it after they take effect, you are treated as agreeing.
  • If an update changes how the App handles information, the Privacy Policy is updated before that update is released.
