How do I start?
The first time you open the app there is an egg. Tap it to keep it warm and it hatches; left alone, it hatches after a few minutes. Then give your pet a name.
After that, care for it with the buttons at the bottom (식사 meal, 간식 snack, 놀이 play, 청소 clean, 불 끄기 lights off), and stroke it by gently rubbing it with your finger.
Does time pass while the app is closed?
Yes. Hunger and mood change in real time, and when you reopen the app it works out the time that passed and greets you. Your pet never leaves or dies, however long you are away, but long stretches without care can affect its health and how it grows up.
It sleeps at night. Change its bedtime and wake-up time under Settings → 잠자는 시간 (sleep hours) in the app, and turn the lights off when it falls asleep.
What will my pet grow into?
It grows from an egg through baby, child and teen stages and becomes an adult after about six days. Which of four adult mochi it becomes depends on how you cared for it. The growth album (top right) keeps each stage.
How do I get reminders?
Turn on 필요할 때 알려 주기 (remind me when needed) under Settings → 알림 in the app and allow notifications. Reminders come only when your pet is hungry, sick or its room is very messy, at most 3 a day, and never during sleep hours.
If you declined, turn them on in iPhone Settings → Notifications → 펫 모찌.
How do I turn off haptics or sound?
Settings → 진동과 소리 (haptics and sound) in the app has a switch for each. Sound stays off in silent mode and mixes with music you are playing.
Where are my records stored? Can I move them to another iPhone?
Only in the app’s storage on this iPhone. There is no account or server, so nothing syncs to other devices and the developer cannot see it.
Backing up and restoring the whole iPhone may carry the app’s data with it through iOS, but the developer cannot move or restore data for you.
How do I start over with a new pet?
Touch and hold the app icon on the Home Screen, then tap Remove App → Delete App. The app and all of its data on this iPhone are removed. Reinstalling starts again from a new egg. The developer holds no copy of your data, so deleted data cannot be restored.
Are there ads or in-app purchases?
No. The app is free and never connects to the internet.
